Dani - I appreciate the post and the photo. It reminds me of a stuffed, life-sized German shepherd dog Chris had when he was a kid. He would take it and move it around his room, and sometimes the house. It would scare the wits out of me, mostly; but sometimes he got scared too! I did name the dog but it didn't really help :-/

I'd say the "tears" part is probably Pete... wouldn't that hurt to have a woodpecker boring into your cheek like that? But I haven't heard him complain. Not once.
Lol. Pete must be very sweet tempered. I'd do a little more than shed some tears if a messy-haired bird insisted upon gouging my face as a sign of friendship!
